Ana’s Fashion Picks for Winter 2015

Hello all!

I’m Ana, engaged to an amazing man, my best friend in the whole wide world, and United States Marine, florist, a bona fide fashion fanatic and self-declared stylist expert, not to mention Elisebeth and I are best friends!

Recently Elisebeth asked me to guest blog for her and I was ecstatic that she did! I love blogging and actually have a blog of my own but with work, life and wedding planning getting in the way, I’m not very proactive in posting on it unfortunately…  So, it’s quite a treat for me to be guest blogging for Elisebeth today and on one of my absolute favorite topics, fashion!

Now, without further ado, here are my top fashion picks for the Winter of 2015!

1.) Blanket Scarves

Now, I do have to say that towards the end of last winter blanket scarves were just hitting the fashion scene, but this season they’re here with a vengeance and I do have to say I hope they stay a while. They are quite cozy and convenient, especially when traveling. Think literal “blanket”. Trust me, I’ve done it!

2.) Over the Knee Boots

I’ve definitely jumped on the bandwagon with this one; living in Wisconsin makes one a legitimate boot collector (possible hoarder?), being that it seems to be winter 9 months of the year. Seriously, it’s boots of all kinds shapes, sizes, colors, and height. Being a shoe collector myself I know this for a fact.

3.) Oversized Sweater Dresses

I’m going to include my third pick along with my second seeing as most of my pictures contain both.

I love warm cozy oversized sweaters, especially when they cover my butt, meaning I can wear it as a dress with leggings or tights and some over the knee socks and of course over the knee boots too!

4.) Winter Print Sweaters

Winter print sweaters are the best! They’re so versatile; you can dress them up or down with a plain skirt, dress underneath, leggings, or jeans. The possibilities are endless!

5.) Plaid Skirts

One of my favorite winter pieces is my plaid skirt. After seeing a limited few gracing my Pinterest feed and the racks of H&M, I knew I needed one! Because I’m rather “thrifty” (meaning I’m cheap)  when it comes to my shopping habits, I tend to look for the best deal possible, which usually I usually find online through some Asian site based in either China or South Korea; why not buy straight from the manufacturer and cut out the middle man, right? Anyways, I obtained one and now they’re everywhere! So why not go pick yourself up one for the season!

So, that would do it for my top 5 fashion picks for the winter of 2015! If you would like the links and sources to all these pictures and also some more fashion inspiration for every season and occasion check out my Pinterest page, specifically my fashion board. I’ll post a link to both following my little farewell blurb.

I hope you all have a wonderful next few weeks building up to Christmas and keep an eye open, I may be back with some more fashion tips for Christmas and New Years celebrations!

Much Love,
Ana
